气门吸使用过程中需要注意的问题：
一、研磨气门必须用气门吸子吸住气门，蘸少量气门研磨膏后，一边旋转，一边拍击，不能只注意拍击，而不旋转气门。
二、不要用太多的研磨膏。研磨膏过多会使砂粒进入气门导管内，引起气门与气门导管磨损。
三、不宜时间过长。研磨时间过长会使气门密封带过宽，而不能密封引起漏气。
四、更换新气门使用研磨膏。有些机工在换新气门与气门座时，不用研磨膏，只是将气门杆插入气门导管内，轻轻敲击几下。如此，由于气门密封带过窄，易引起气门与气门座烧损。
五、检查气门杆与导管的配合间隙。间隙过大，会导致气门中心线偏移，进而密封带偏移引起漏气。
